This technology is about WINDFREE, a ventilated umbrella that does not damaged by strong winds.
The pressure inside the umbrella is lowered by discharging it to the outside through the ventilation passage formed inside the umbrella shaft.
Velcro cable tie fastens a canopy and ribs to protect the canopy from being damaged by a strong wind at 90km/h (25m/s) inside the umbrella
With a removable umbrella top, a user can assemble, disassemble, and repair each part of the umbrella by removing the Velcro cable tie from the umbrella canopy.
